A "quarterly earnings report" is a quarterly filing made to the SEC by public companies to report on their financial performance for the proceeding quarter. Included in earnings reports are earnings per share, sales, and net income. The reports are filed on Form 10-Q and available through the SEC's EDGAR database at www.sec.gov.
